Full Time with flexible hours (7 days, 24 hours) in a 28-room lodging house. General Maintenance and Management.
Duties Include:
- overseeing maintenance and repair people, rent collection, screening applicants, renting rooms
- purchasing supplies and furniture
- overseeing cleaning of vacant rooms, halls, bathrooms, common areas, and building exterior
- dealing with tenant problems, handyman repairs
- diplomacy with tenants, local officials, courts, and a presentable appearance
- familiarity with technology is required - computer, fax, security cameras, phone, wifi, etc
- good understanding of large building mechanical systems - electrical, plumbing, heating
- basic skills in math, record-keeping, and communication
- must be organized and detail-oriented with follow through
