Position Overview: This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor and make an impact in a market full of opportunity in Boston. Atrium Scientific is looking for an outgoing Recruiter that can develop and maintain relationships with the Scientific and Clinical companies throughout Boston in addition to driving business development. This is a full-desk sales and recruiting position filling temporary, temp-to-perm and direct hire positions for all levels of positions. Prior recruiting experience is a huge plus.

Responsibilities of the Scientific Recruiter:
Sales duties include:
Consult with companies' HR Managers, End Users and Procurement to identify staffing needs
Responsible for Temporary & Direct Hire staffing needs at individual clients
Marketing new business through cold & warm calls, letters and targeted marketing campaigns
Conducting consultative meetings with End Users to introduce Atrium Staffing services
Developing Marketing & Sales strategies with Senior Management teams to identify key accounts
Maintain ongoing relationships with existing clients by providing best-in-class service
Taking thorough job orders and responding to client requests in a timely and frequent manner
Negotiating terms of staffing contracts, placement fees and bill rates
Attend networking events and maintain memberships with Professional & Industry organizations
Recruiting Responsibilities Include:
Pre-qualifying candidates and conducting interviews to evaluate skills, employment background and qualifications
Establishing and developing candidate database through internet job boards and associate referrals
Conducting new-hire orientations and processing documentation including I-9 and W-4 forms
Perform qualify control calls to evaluate Associate performance with managers & end users
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date associate files
Conducting pre-employment checks on all candidates including reference checks, background checks and drug screen
Utilize social networking sites such as Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook
Attend networking events to recruit candidates
Qualifications for the Scientific Recruiter:
Candidates must have a strong understanding and knowledge of the sciences
3-5 years' in staffing & recruiting preferred
Experience in clinical recruiting would be a huge plus
Must have strong oral and written communication skills, ability to multi-task and work in a very fast-paced environment
Education Requirements:
BA/BS Degree in Science (Biology or Chemistry), Life Sciences, Health Science very strongly desired
