Builder/Contractor looking for a small company to partner with or individual to help supervise, manage single, multi family renovation projects.
Most of the work is in the Somerville, Newton, Belmont, Arlington, Watertown and the surrounding areas.
The right person should have
Strong understanding of overall residential construction projects.
5 or more years' experience in construction project management or site supervision.
Strong work ethic, extensive hands-on expertise,
Hold Massachusetts CSL license or other equivalent construction licenses, certification etc.
Hands on experience with Carpentry, masonry work etc is an added bonus.
Proven track record of managing projects to time schedule and within budget
Job responsibilities include
Coordinate, direct, and monitor the activities of all subcontractors.
Interview and hire new sub-contractors.
Inventory management.
Must have your own hand tools and the ability to handle small scopes such as hanging interior doors, shelving, hardware installation, bathroom wall fixtures/mirrors/grab bars, etc.
Computers are essential to our operation and will be a major component of your work with us, so a strong background in creating/modifying documents, generating and maintaining schedules using spreadsheets, and communicating clearly via email will be needed.
This can be done on a part-time basis but might evolve into a full time job for the right candidate.
Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Must be able to pass a background check immediately
