Hello!
We are a small, but busy precision machine shop looking for a Q.C. Inspector.
We make prototype parts for a variety of industries, from high-end medical devices, to lower-end parts for custom machines.
Our clients are hospitals, research labs, and technology research institutes.
We also like helping as a friendly machine shop our long-term friends in various industries to solve problems
All our parts are made to exacting standards, so even things that seem simple can require more work than meets the eye!
Full training for the right person.
An eagle-eye for fine details is most important!
If you are getting started in manufacturing or a seasoned machinist professional, give us a shout.
Duties include using precision instruments to inspect parts (most are small, fit in the palm of your hand)
Read blueprints, and determine if the part was made correctly. (knowledge of mechanical print reading is required)
Use math and geometry to catch mistakes. Use focus and care to send out parts that look good.
Use precision gage pins to measure precision holes
Use precision tools to measure surface finishes, sizes, angles etc.
Take responsibility as the final eye to see the parts before shipping to customers around the world.
Preference to people who can solve problems, use good judgement, and can communicate issues as they come up.
Full time, year round, permanent position, Monday-Friday days
