Performance Architect and Lead

Are you an experienced, passionate pioneer in technology? As an experienced Performance Engineer, you will have the ability to collaborate to optimize the performance of applications, evaluate, design and guide developers and testers to deliver robust applications. you will be a Critical member of the Architecture team that determines and delivers new business functions, assists with IT modernization for a rapidly growing business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Retail industry defining requirements and deploying solutions.
Your future duties and responsibilities
• Work with Business, Product teams, Architects and Development / support teams to determine the performance expectations and Non-Functional Requirements
• Technical Savvy to develop the complex end-to-end performance scripts, and guide the offshore to develop scripts in client standards
• Manage and work with small offshore team
• Provide technical leadership to the performance engineering team.
• Review requirements and specifications early in the project life cycle.
• Work closely with the development team during performance testing/tuning, and coordinate troubleshooting efforts.
• Conduct root cause analysis of performance issues and bottlenecks.
• Evaluate, deploy, operate, and maintain performance monitoring tools.
• Provide management with an assessment of the performance, scalability, reliability, and robustness of solutions.
• Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• 10+ years of experience in Performance Engineering & Testing of any Retail / SaaS Products preferably from logistics domain
• Exposure to performance testing on Warehouse Management products like Manhattan, Sterling Commerce
• Hands on experience working with Microfocus LoadRunner / NeoLoad. Preferably experience in both products
• Experience in Application, DB and Services Performance testing
• Performance in Workload modeling
• Experience in performance testing, identifying the bottlenecks, analyzing the performance issues and recommending the possible solutions to optimize the performance issues
• Experience in AppD and Splunk, and creating the monitoring dashboard
