Job Description

Overview:

Join our team bringing our security services to connected IoT devices. You will develop new features in our cloud based security service that enable customers to incorporate connected IoT devices into their secure network . Customers use the Privafy IoT Device SDK to create a secure network environment on connected IoT devices. Our cloud based security services acts as a control plane for those devices. Our security service allows device network traffic to be controlled, monitored and protected.

You will be working on our microservices within our Kubernetes clusters. Our services are developed primarily in Go (golang). You will create distributed HA services for mission critical deployments. As part of our distributed team you will use collaboration tools and automate our workflow for testing and continuous integration and deployment.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

• 1-5 years software development experience
• Ability to write (or learn) Go
• Experience developing distributed applications
• Experience with Docker and container based development
• Experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestrators
• Writing automated unit tests

Desired Requirements:

• Experience with C/C, Java or other high-level structured language (if not Go)
• Experience with NATS or similar messaging system
• Experience with Hashicorp Vault and/or Terraform
• Experience in a gitflow and CI/CD development environment
