Description: Our client is currently seeking a Advanced Sensors Engineer
Responsibilities: As an Advanced Sensors Engineer, you will be exposed to a broad range of technical challenges ranging across application areas from space to medical to defense. This role will require you to apply your advanced knowledge of physics, sensors, electronics, and processing algorithms to develop novel sensors capable of measuring and analyzing non-typical signals that would typically be ignored. As such, ideal candidates will have expertise in electromagnetic field propagation and detection techniques. They will also have a solid background in electronics, embedded software and advanced prototyping techniques. Welding experienced is welcome. The individual must be highly self-motivated and must thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills are a necessity. Qualifications: Qualifications •PhD in electrical engineering, physics or related discipline with a focus on the physics of RF, optic, or acoustic detection •Working knowledge of: oElectronics design oTomography oSignal and/or image processing oRapid prototyping •Desire to develop and propose novel technology •Excellent written and oral communication skills are a necessity Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
