Manufacturing Lab TechnicianThis company is the leader in developing patient-specific, expanded multi cellular therapies for use in the treatment of patients with severe, chronic cardiovascular diseases. The company's proprietary cell-processing technology enables the manufacture of ixmyelocel-T, a patient-specific multicellular therapy expanded from a patient's own bone marrow and delivered directly to damaged tissues. Aastrom has advanced ixmyelocel-T into late-stage clinical development, including a Phase 2b clinical trial in patients with ischemic dilated cardiomyopathy.Job Description:Perform lab procedures in accordance to SOPs, cGMPs and safety regulations.
Perform aseptic manipulations of cell culture, final product assemblies.
Document production operations in corresponding batch record and log sheets according to cGMPs and established SOPs.
Qualifications:Biotech Certification or Associates Degree in Science or
Bachelors Degree in Biology, Chemistry or other related Life Science degree
Cell culture experience needed
Hours: Monday- Friday 8am-4:30pm for the first two months, then move to a one weekend day/week schedule. Please contact me at your earliest convenience if you are interested in this position.
