We are hiring a Software Engineer II who will engage in software engineering projects of wide complexity. You will develop and/or test work which requires a comprehensive knowledge of software engineering practices as well as create Software Design Documents, code, and verify the software module(s).

Responsibilities will include:
  • Designing software system modules and documenting the design in a Software Design Document.
  • Participate in reviews of the Software Requirements Specifications used as input.
  • Coding of complex software modules with minimal supervision by a Lead or Senior Software Engineer.
  • Development of Verification and Validation Protocols.

Qualifications:
  • B.S. degree in Engineering, 2 - 4 years of related experience.
  • C/C# development for 2 years
  • An in-depth understanding of the operating system (if applicable) used for the software system.
  • Encapsulation, variable, and method scope.
  • Debugging tools and techniques.

Plus if:
  • You have MySQL, Visual Studio, Windows CE
  • Med device experience or other highly regulated industry
