Small seasonal oceanfront hotel in South Yarmouth is seeking a part time maintenance and grounds director. Schedule will be on a weekly rotation of three days a week (Monday through Wednesday: 7:30 AM-3:30 PM) and four days a week (Monday through Thursday: 7:30 AM â 3:30 PM.) The job beings April 1st each year and ends Oct. 30th. Duties include a wide spectrum of work associated with the operation of a hotel such as painting, basic carpentry, landscaping, and general property, swimming pool and guest room upkeep. The position will include managing exchange student helpers who often have very little work experience and limited English language skills. Applicant will be dealing extensively with guests (occasionally unhappy or disagreeable ones) and therefore must maintain a neat appearance and professional composure at all times.
