Looking to hire an upbeat Personal Care Attendant (HHA) 2-3 days/week (roughly 16-24 hrs) to start, beginning ASAP. Candidates can select which of the following days (M-F, or Su.) theyd like to work. This position involves working with a 37 year old quadriplegic man.
Were seeking someone who is RELIABLE, TRUSTWORTHY, and CARING to work from 8 AM - 4 PM. Candidates should be comfortable assisting with bathing, dressing, using the restroom, light cleaning duties, preparing simple meals, having a small friendly dog around, and driving a minivan on and off Cape to appointments/activities.
This is an excellent job for someone that values being around a positive, low stress environment and a friendly employer that seeks companionship and appreciates PCA's with big hearts.
Although CNA course completion and/or PCA/HHA experience is preferred, it's not required. We'd rather train someone that is RELIABLE, TRUSTWORTHY, and CARING that has very little experience, than hire someone who is experienced that does not have these three essential qualities. Training in any tasks listed above will be provided to all candidates, regardless of experience.
VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE and CAR INSURANCE ARE REQUIRED. CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK ALSO REQUIRED PRIOR TO STARTING.
