Growing Home Performance Contractor working with Mass Save looking for experienced weatherization & air sealing installers. Right candidate will be self-motivated, hardworking, organized, and dedicated and will have the ability to pay attention to details. Commitment to providing quality work as well as courteous and professional customer service a must. Must be physically able to work in tight spaces such as attics and crawlspaces, as well as on roofs and ladders and be physically able to perform all job duties, including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, and crouching.
Responsible for completing installation of weatherization, insulation, and air sealing work to the specifics required by each job, company policies, and Mass Save Home Energy Services Program standards. May occasionally assist auditors with performing home energy assessments. Reports to foreman, crew chiefs, and auditors as well as office staff.
Compensation is competitive and based on experience. Training and growth opportunities will be available for the right individual.
Primary Job Duties Include:
Following job contracts & plan views and directions of crew chief or field manager
Equipment operation & maintenance
Jobsite preparation & clean-up
Installing insulation, foam board, blown in cellulose, air sealing measures, moisture barriers and ventilation
Performing home diagnostic tests
Effectively passing along and collecting customer paperwork as well as completing job required forms, certificates, and payroll paperwork
Accurately reporting to field manager, crew chief, auditors, or office staff when job follow up or materials are needed
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
Mass Save Weatherization Boot Camp: Crew Member Training
Any other BPI; DOE or WAP weatherization training
One year experience doing repair, service, or installation of weatherization services
Candidates MUST pass a federal drug test
Candidates MUST pass a background check
