Lead Carpenter/Foreman
Previous experience in all areas of interior and exterior finishes is required for this full-time position, which will involve working on multiple high-end residential renovation projects in Cape Cod.
Compensation is based on experience & expertise.
Applicant must have:
- At least 3-5+ years working in the field
- Must be able to do high-end, detail-oriented work.
- Take pride in the quality of your workmanship
- Have a set of basic carpentry tools
- Must be able to perform layouts, finish trim details, follow blueprints, and multi-task.
- A hard worker with a great attitude
- Must be prompt and reliable.
- Must be able to work as a team
- Comfortable managing and overseeing a crew to complete carpentry projects
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. safely without any concerns.
- Must be a U.S. citizen OR have a work authorization card.
- Driver's License and Transportation
Responsibilities:
Lead and assist in carpentry projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship in renovations.
Utilize hand and power tools for construction tasks, including framing and trim carpentry.
Read and interpret blueprints to accurately execute project specifications.
Oversee construction site activities to ensure safety and compliance with relevant regulations.
Collaborate with team members to manage workflow and maintain project timelines.
Provide guidance and leadership to junior carpenters and assistants.
