Opportunities in Plymouth and Wareham! As a Residential Counselor in the Adult Services Program, you will plan and provide direct services to individuals living in community residences, including developing and delivering instruction, supports and positive role modeling in the areas of life skills, community utilization, health care, and social and recreational activities. You will also support individuals in their daily living skills and ensure that the house common areas are safe and clean and will be responsible for preparing healthy meals (recipes and menus provided by the program). Requirements include High School Diploma or GED, valid driver’s license and ability to handle individuals in crisis safely with compassion. Will attain MAP certification for medication administration.

Latham provides a paid two-week Orientation program for all new employees upon hire. High School Diploma or GED required. Candidates with a high school diploma/ GED and are new to the human services field are encouraged to apply! Upon hire into this position, you will attain MAP certification for medication administration. He or she must have the ability to handle children/ individuals in crisis safely, with compassion. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.

Fluent English speaking and writing skills, empathy and the ability to listen, good time management skills and professional appearance and demeanor are all required for this position.

Weekend differential for applicable weekend hours.
