Arthur D. Calfee Insurance Agency, Inc., seeks a full-time Personal Lines Account Manager (Client Service Representative) with minimum 3 years agency experience.
The successful candidate will be someone who loves helping people and working with others, wishes to further develop his/her career, and enjoys having fun in a fast-paced and enriching work environment.
This position requires a high level of prioritization and organizational skills as well as exceptional interpersonal communication. These skills are needed to provide prompt, efficient, high-quality service to personal lines clients and assist in the retention of existing accounts and development of new accounts.
This includes home, automobile, dwelling, flood, boat, and umbrella products.
Principal Responsibilities:
Process new business, estimate premiums, complete applications and binders, rewrite existing policies, and provide underwriting information to carriers as needed.
Receive phone calls and office visitors requesting quotes, account reviews, changes to existing coverage, and/or new policies.
Process incoming requests from clients, carriers, and third-parties including policy changes, binders, and RMV forms while maintaining a concern for timeliness and completeness.
Cross-sell policies to existing customers when advisable. Actively solicit appropriate increases in limits and/or coverages or rounding out accounts at every service contact.
Comply with agency procedures and automation requirements.
Exercise proficiency with a variety of office equipment and computer software.
Experience with Doris Applied Systems, SinglePoint rating software, and insurer website applications a plus.
Review binding applications for appropriate information and forms
Actively engage and mentor new agents with respect to the completion of applications, insurance products available in the marketplace and insurance companies that are able to provide said insurance products
Meets and/or exceeds all assigned submission and premium goals on an annual basis.
Meet and exceed all required time standards on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis.
Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to assess and meet information needs.
Responsible to work collaboratively with others (internally and externally) to achieve common objects, goals & results.
Other duties as directed by management.
Minimum Position Guidelines (Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):
3-5 years personal lines insurance agency experience.
P&C license preferred.
Self-starter who is able to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
Detail-oriented approach to work.
Ability to solve problems and make analytical decisions.
