Sales Clerk Job Summary
We are seeking a sales clerk for an established and popular gift and furniture shop in Brewster for a part time position mostly Friday-Sunday, from July 10th - September 10th. Extra days possible.
Must be able to work weekends.
Brewster Bird House is also located within our store, so a love of wild birds and bird watching is a bonus.
Sales Clerk Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet customers and inquire about their needs
- Some stocking and restocking of merchandise
- Operate POS, bag and box items, and assist customer to purchase items
- Clean, clear, and tidy debris as needed
Sales Clerk Requirements and Qualifications
-Ability to approach and interact with customers
-Basic computer skills
-Ability to work independently if needed
-Can lift 20-30 lbs. on occasion.
-Can work weekends.
