JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the receipt and processing of all incoming customer phone orders and
over the counter sales. Assists the Outside Sales person (Territory Mgr.) in his/her duties.
Provides overall sales support in all branch sales activities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Branch Sales Sales and customer service support as determined by the Branch
Manager and assisting in achieving budget as it relates to Branch Total
Sales, specifically: Warehouse, Direct Sales Budget as well as the
number of New Accounts opened.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Market Awareness Develop timely and accurate information regarding prices and
competitors strategy. Maintain awareness of new products and
systems and the aptitude for developing counter and winning sales
strategies.
Job Selling As required by the manager, develop job information from various
and numerous sources in order to develop quotes and job leads.
Product Knowledge Act as a consultant with regard to the characteristics, uses and
benefits of the entire line of products that can be used in the
marketplace. Knowledgeable on non-commodity & specialty
products.
New Business Provide courteous service to encourage non-buying customers to
do business with Gulfeagle, and partial buyers to make us their
main supplier. Offer credit applications to prospects and help
expedite the process.
Organization & Keep an organized work area and make the most efficient use

Handling of Credit Cooperate with credit functions and communicate accurate and

telemarketing, organizing showroom, sample room, etc.

customers as they enter our place of business, then having the
ability to develop that into a long term relationship. Ability to

Job Quotes Effectively quote pricing to customers, follow-up and file quotes.
Decision Making Analyze sales opportunities and take decisive action in a timely
manner with authority as given by the Branch Manager
Telemarketing Skills Reflect a genuine positive attitude and desire to assist
customer/prospects to make a sound purchasing decision. Secure
prompt responses to customer inquiries. Solicit new customers and
procure additional business with existing customers by
prospecting.
ACCOUNTABILITY:
Reports directly to the Branch Manager or may report to the
Operations Manager or Assistant Manager if the Branch Manager
so determines.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Basic elements of English language usage, spelling and mathematics.
Ability to utilize computers including word processing programs.
Excellent communication skills: listening and comprehending others and present
one in a clear manner which can be readily understood by others.
Ability to exercise independent judgment in making decisions.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships as part of a team effort with
those contacted in the performance of duties, to include upper management, all
employees and customers.

EDUCATION:
