STORE MANAGER POSITION - East End Market

The Store Manager will oversee the daily operation of the retail area of the East End Market. This position will include management of employees, scheduling, training and ensuring that they represent the store's culture and goals. Also the store manager will be in charge of ordering retail inventory, the POS system and working with the kitchen area to ensure a smooth, coordinated operation. This will be a year round position.
EXPERIENCE NEEDED
⢠Previous history of retail experience
⢠Working with vendors
⢠Exposure to the food business
⢠Knowledge and appreciation of wines and other alcoholic beverages
⢠People and communication skills
⢠Be able to adjust to a changing working environment
⢠Understanding sales and financial data
⢠Self-motivated and a high level of confidence
⢠Manager of a team
RESPONSIBILITIES
⢠Recruit staff & train to meet the needs of the customers
⢠Complete schedules, assign duties and responsibilities to the store's staff
⢠Complete Bi-weekly payroll & gratuities distribution to staff
⢠Manage store inventory, orders and vendor relationships
⢠Manage the POS system
⢠Work in coordination with the kitchen operations
⢠Education of products through online searches and trade shows
