We are seeking a Scientist / Sr. Scientist - Analytical Development to join our rapidly growing company.



In this job you will work on characterizing structure and composition of complicated oligosaccharides and using research results to influence scientific and strategic direction of development projects.



As a Scientist / Sr. Scientist you will:

• Generate qualitative and quantitative analytical results to support the internal and external development for multiple projects.


• Develop novel and robust analytical methods to characterize oligosaccharides.


• Author and manage technical protocols, reports, SOPs, and maintain clear laboratory notebooks.


• Work closely with external CROs and CMOs in method transfer and validation. Review/draft analytical development/validation and characterization sections for regulatory submissions in collaboration with other teams.


• Support, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical laboratory instruments.


• Tutor junior scientists in daily operation.

The ideal candidate will have:

• a P.H.D. in analytical or physical organic chemistry.


• Experience with analytical and chromatographic separation techniques, such as HPLC, LC-MS, and GC-MS.


• Previous experience on characterizing oligosaccharides or polymeric compounds.


• Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.


• Ability to follow cGMP requirements, keep detailed records, and competently peer-review analytical data and results.


• Competency with common laboratory operations, including accurate weighing, dilution, pH measurement, UV assay and similar techniques.


• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team.


• Experience with ChemStation or Empower.
