DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
Evaluates patients; diagnoses communication disorders; plans, directs, and provides treatments for pediatric and adult patients with a wide variety of disabilities to help them achieve a maximum level of functional independence. Documents patient care and results of treatment appropriately in the medical record to comply with policies and procedures of the department and regulatory agencies.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
Experience:
Two years experience preferred. Entry level acceptable.
Education and Training:
Must hold a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
License, Certification & Registration:
MASPEECH - MA Speech and Language Pathologist License.
Other Requirements:
Must be able to comprehend and write the English language.
