job summary:
Seeking an exceptional candidate to serve asEnterprise Architect - Business Excellence Program (BEx) to establish and lead an enterprise architecture program to define, manage, and help govern the target platforms and technologies that will power the current and future needs of the healthcare system. The Enterprise Architect - BEx will report directly to the Chief Enterprise Architect, with dotted lines to the Chief Digital Health Officer and VP Infrastructure Technology Service. They will be a key member of the BEx Program team,
Digital Health Leadership Team and Architecture Council working collaboratively and partnering with clinical, administrative, research and operational leaders to ensure that the enterprise architecture is informed by the strategy of the stakeholders that the architecture supports. ensure that advanced and future focused solutions are engaged to meet the needs and that will help achieve enterprise architecture roadmap goals.

responsibilities:
Define and own the enterprise architecture across the following domains and functions:
o BEx Program
o Enterprise Services functions:
? Within BEx Program - HR, Finance, Supply Chain and Research Management
? Outside of BEx Program - Real Estate, Office of the Group Council, Internal Communications, Strategy
o Identity, Access and Worker Master Data (in conjunction with Infrastructure)
o Employee Experience (for the above scope working in conjunction with Modern Workplace and Service Delivery)
? Drive the execution of the technology strategy in partnership with colleagues in MGB Digital and other technology functions and develop and support the IT business capability model for the enterprise
? Partner with relevant technology companies, including Workday and ServiceNow, to ensure that the needs of MGB drive their product roadmaps
? Participate in the MGB Architecture Council, to ensure they are both aligned to the broader enterprise architecture and contribute to it
? Define the reference architecture and platforms that deliver the necessary business capabilities, maintain the current state application landscape, and develop the frameworks, models, and roadmaps that demonstrate a progressive consolidation to the simplified target architecture
? Accountable for technology design and decisions in support of the architecture, ensuring they are aligned with relevant standards, regulatory and operational controls, and policies
? Responsible for key decisions required around the deployment of Workday capabilities and the interaction with ServiceNow, the provision of capabilities to support mastering of employee data and enhanced Identity and Access Management (IAM), the provision of portal capabilities to enable a step change in employee experience, and the approach to processing and analyzing data
? Establish a presence in the key governance forums which set and direct investment priorities, and ensure that investment programs are delivering in accordance with the strategy and architecture; driving alignment and looking for opportunities to reduce costs or improve outcomes
? Provide thought leadership for emerging technology and forward-looking architecture strategy development
? Lead the priorities, production, and maintenance of the centrally managed architectural frameworks, including process and organizational architectures, ensuring that this content can be used practically to plan, direct and implement change, to increase efficiency and quality in architecture solution development
? Work effectively with external partners to commission and manage the delivery of work
? Deliver enterprise scale solutions on both private and public clouds, and large-scale workload migrations from traditional hosting environments to Public Cloud
Deliver support and training documents for architecture and related processes
