One of our local clients in Taunton is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist. This position is Monday thru Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
Pay Rate $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain assigned accounts - customer calls, credit reference checks and approvals, posting payments/account adjustments, small balance write off and customer reconciliations
Track and resolve outstanding payment issues and generate weekly aging reports in a timely manner
Place collection calls and initiate written correspondence to customers
Provide customer service regarding collection issues, process customer refunds, process and review account adjustments, resolve client discrepancies and short payments
Reduce delinquency for assigned accounts
Enlist the efforts of sales and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process
Communicate and follow up effectively with direct manager regarding customer accounts on a timely basis
Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with customers and company staff
Weekly and monthly reporting to direct supervisor
Reconcile customer disputes as they pertain to payment of outstanding balances
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years experience
High school diploma required; associates or bachelors degree preferred
Knowledge of billing and collections procedures
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Strong attention to detail; goal oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
