Positions: We are hiring for three positions, each of which has a different anticipated schedule. These anticipated schedules may be altered if required by COVID-19 school reopening guidelines. Please see below for more details.
Schedules:
1. 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM Monday-Wednesday; 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM Thursday & Friday. (24 hours per week)
2. 6:30 AM – 1:30 PM Monday – Friday. (32.5 hours per week)
3. 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM Monday – Wednesday; 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM Thursday & Friday (26 hours per week)
Requirements of the Position:
Working all of the following areas on a rotating schedule:
o Sink & Serve
o Salad Station
o Slicing-Storeroom
o Sandwich Room
o Cash Register
o Rounds Person
o Cleaning Duties
Following Sanitation and Hygiene Practices
Minimum Requirements:
Prior Food Service Experience is preferred.
An understanding of English so that you can speak and understand spoken and written instructions, read food labels and recipes, and follow safety protocols. You do not need to be fluent, and we encourage candidates who speak English as a second language to apply.
Physical Requirements:
This position is Medium work, i.e, you must be able to stand up to six hours each workday and to lift and/or carry 25-30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
You will frequently be required to walk/move, stand, stoop, squat, or bend during your workday.
You must have the manual dexterity and visual acuity, with or without reasonable accommodations, to operate kitchen equipment and cash registers and use kitchen tools, including knives.
