We are in IMMEDIATE need of several Merchandisers to support one of our local area clients (total 6 associates). These positions are primarily responsible for promoting and maintaining products within respective accounts.
Pay Rate: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Primary Responsibilities:
- Organize and execute HBC and supplier point-of-sale (POS) including promotional literature (shelf talkers, rebates, display cards); ensuring literature in place, displays are complete, arranging floor displays, and resetting coolers/warm shelves.
- Restock shelves and displays. Utilize software to upload pictures (displays, pricing, cases) to verify completed work.
- Assist with promotional events.
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- High school diploma/GED with previous sales experience (merchandising principles/techniques) preferred. Knowledge of alcohol industry (e.g. bartender, wait staff, liquor store) a plus
- Requires professional presentation and communication skills (oral & written)
- Outgoing personality with ability to build rapport with retail owners, managers, clerks and account managers
- Self-motivated and service oriented. Creative spirit helpful.
- Basic level Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Able to complete assignments in a timely manner, amidst occasional interruptions
- Requires strong organizational skills, with ability to adjust work priorities (within scope) to meet business needs/objectives. Team Player.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more
