The duties are as follows:
Read travelers, process sheets, blueprints, specifications and sketches of part to determine machining to be done, dimensional specifications and operating requirements
Load programs for repeat jobs
Select , positions and secure tools in holders in sequence specified on process sheet, verifying positions with gauges and other measuring instruments
Mount fixture for work piece to facilitate machining, mounts work piece, manually or using a hoist
Setup machines and observe numerical displays on control panel and compares with data on process sheet to verify dimensional adjustments, feed rates, and speeds of machining cuts
Runs first piece and inspects for conformance to specifications, using micrometers, other precision gauges
Obtain quality inspector approval for first run piece
Requirements
Previous CNC milling experience
Must be able to setup, operate and program at that machine
Good verbal and written communication skills
Able to lift up to 30lbs
Hours are
Monday through Friday 7am - 3:30pm
The rate of pay is up to $28.00 an hour based on experience
