The duties are as follows:
CNC machinist for milling and lathe machines
Using cutting tools as well as speeds and feeds associated with tooling
Understanding of process to achieve tight tolerance
Making calculations for programming including where material should be cut
Translating instructions into a computer automated manufacturing program
Reading blueprints
Communicating with engineers and clients who will use the program
Preparing geometric layout of design using proper software
Writing programs and modify existing ones for increased efficiency
Requirements:
BobCad is a major plus
At least three years previous experience
Good math skills, written and verbal skills
Knowledge of a metal shop work
Able to read blueprints
Hours are:
First and Second Shift Available with overtime
The salary is:
Up to $32.00 an hour based on experience 10% shift differential for second shift
