Our client in the Taunton area has an immediate need for a Maintenance Mechanic. This position provides service repair for machines throughout our extrusion facility.
Pay Rate $18.00 per hour
Job responsibilities:
- participate in semi-complex equipment troubleshooting; conduct tests, repairs and overhauls
- train associates on basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting procedures
- perform maintenance on tools, test equipment, etc; maintain documents of inspections, maintenance and repair work, and failures
- respond to service calls throughout the facility
- work safely and follow OSHA rules
- maintain accurate reporting
Skills required:
- effective, clear and persuasive oral and written communication
- strong analytical skills
- two (2) years of technical college or specialized training
- minimum five (5) years or more of related experience
