We have an immediate need for a full-time Manufacturing Engineer who is technically inclined and is also a jack of all tradesĀ willing to fulfill other tasks as needed. The candidate should have a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering and excel in mathematics.
Annual Pay rate: $50,000-$70,000 annually
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in the recommendation, justification, procuring, and introduction of new or additional equipment required for production
Implement improvement projects within current manufacturing processes and materials which will result in cost reductions or improved productivity
Design and procure equipment used in manufacturing
Assist in design activities and print preparation for products and tooling using in-house and/or outside resources
Provide technical support to manufacturing as needed including process improvements, and problem solving
Develop process/production rates for various manufacturing processes
Troubleshoot process problems
Respond to inquiries or problems from customers, sales or others as needed
Create appropriate procedures and work instructions to meet quality standards as they relate to this position
Carry out other related functions as determined by the Technical Manager
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors Degree (M.E. or related field)
Preferably 1 (one) year related engineering or manufacturing experience
Familiarity with Solid Works and knowledge of PLC programming
Strong mathematical skills
Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and data
Ability to read and utilize measuring equipment
Strong written and oral communication; must be able to present and to respond to inquiries and/or problems at all levels of the organization including customers
Ability to analyze data to make sound recommendations and decisions
Ability to coordinate, plan and execute multiple projects simultaneously
