HallKeen Management is seeking a qualified, motivated and experienced Occupancy Specialist with affordable housing experience to complete certifications and recertifications at a 201 unit property. The candidate should possess experience with Affordable Housing (Section 8) voucher preparation, waitlist management, HUD policies and procedures, TRACS transmissions, recertification process, marketing, staff supervision, budgeting, variance reporting, and regulatory reporting.
The Recertification Specialist is responsible for:
Completing Annual Recertifications for the LIHTC, Section 8, and 236 Programs
Completing Interim Certifications for the Section 8 Program
Processing Monthly EIV Reports
Maintaining Resident Files in accordance to HallKeen’s policy
Completing affordable housing reports as requested by Owner, agencies, lenders, etc.
The Ideal Candidate should possess:
Strong Written and Verbal communication Skills
High Level of Professionalism
3 Years’ experience in Affordable Housing
COS and/or C3P Designation
Proficiency with both EIV and TRACS Systems
Working knowledge of the HUD 4350 Handbook
Associate’s Degree or applicable work experience in Affordable Housing
Ability to speak Spanish or Portuguese a plus
