Laboratory Technician - Full Time (Middleboro)
The leading environmental laboratory in southeastern Mass. is seeking a laboratory technician. Duties include the preparation of environmental samples of varying matrices for analysis and performing standard water quality tests.
The position requires:
strong organizational skills,
attention to detail,
the ability to keep good records
the ability to work safely
good oral and written communication
the ability to follow oral instructions and written Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
ability to write SOPs a plus
We are looking for a motivated individual who is comfortable in a laboratory setting, has the ability to work independently and can schedule work flow to meet deadlines.
Requirements: H.S. diploma, A.S. degree preferred. Technical or scientific experience desirable.
