One of our clients in the Taunton area is looking for a 1st Shift Embroidery Machine Technician. If you are a detail oriented individual, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, we would like to hear from you!
Pay Rate $14 - $16 per hour
The Embroidery Machine Operator is responsible for operating up to 18 head embroidery machines to accurately embroider logos and appliqués on garments and headwear. The Embroidery Machine Operator is responsible for quality while ensuring on-time delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare machine by placing spools of thread, inserting bobbins, changing and threading needles; securing attachments.
Remove garment or headwear from box and secure on embroidery hoop.
Place hooped headwear or garment on machine; position under needles.
Start and operate or tend machine.
Adjust machine performance by adjusting settings, thread and bobbin tensions.
Monitor machine operation to detect problems such as machine malfunctions, defective stitching, or breaks in thread.
Tie thread on back of machine.
Remove hooped garment or headwear from machine.
Maintain quality by inspecting finished product.
Place hooped garment or headwear in box.
Ensure operation of machine by completing preventive maintenance requirements.

Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Manufacturing experience.
Previous Embroidery Machine experience preferred
Skills/Qualifications
Ability to follow verbal directions, read instructions in English, solve problems, work in a fast-paced team environment, and perform quality control.
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
Will be required to stand for extended periods of time.
Repetitive use of hands, fingers and arms; fine dexterity skills a must.
Must be able to thread a needle
