Who We Are:
We are a full-service floor covering installation company that works in Commercial, Industrial and Residential spaces across Southern Massachusetts and the Greater Boston Area.
We are looking to hire multiple flooring mechanics and multiple flooring apprentices that want to learn, grow and perfect their skills.
We currently have openings in our substrate prep division. This team conducts diamond grinding, shot blasting, self-leveling, moisture vapor controls systems, epoxies systems and more.
We also have openings on our installation team, which conducts installation of VCT, LVP, tile, carpet, hardwood, vinyl, linoleum, flash cove/heat welding, and more.
Experience in tile work is a plus!
Job Overview:
The Flooring Installer will work under the direction of the owner, Site Supervisor/Foreman, General Foreman, and any office/management staff as needed. He or she will work in a professional and timely manner, efficiently completing the required job tasks. They will work in conjunction with other installers, journeymen, and/or apprentices onsite to fulfill their assigned job requirements. Quality of workmanship is priority and work performed will be held to the highest standards not to be compromised under any circumstance.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Prepare substrate floor surfaces for installation and to receive new flooring finishes.
· Measure, cut, and mix materials; create a proper floor foundation without flaw.
· Recognize, resolve and implement change orders independently and communicate such changes appropriately with supervisors/management.
· Install new floor coverings according to job specific requirements.
· Apply floor finishes neatly and properly according to job specific requirements.
· Always maintain job site cleanliness by keeping clean and hazard free.
· Proper use of equipment and protective wear as required.
· Utilize, maintain and keep clean all company equipment, tools and any other provided materials and job-related tools in a respectful manner.

Mass DOT and OSHA medical card/certificates– not required but preferred. We are willing to discuss and provide training and certification if willing to be obtained.
