This team designs, develops, integrates, and tests the Radar Receiver Exciter hardware for the combat proven RMD integrated air and missile defense systems.The Receiver, Exciter, and Signal Processing (RESP) Department a the focal point for receiver, exciter, beam steering, and signal processing technology. The department is responsible for the design, development, integration, support to production builds, and lifecycle support.We are looking for candidates to collaborate and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to proactively and efficiently resolve issues that may arise during production, testing, and integration.The Senior Hardware Design and Production Support Engineer will be expected to perform the following:Troubleshoot hardware and process issues down to Circuit Card Assembly (CCA)/Module and component levels to include analog/digital/radio frequency (RF)/power circuitry and interfacesResolve hardware issues on production linesInterface with supply chain and supplier to resolve production issuesPartnering in the development of test equipment and establishment of test requirements and proceduresLeadership of root cause and corrective action investigations and presentation of findings to the integrated product teamRequired Skills:Minimum 4 years of experience supporting Production and/or Test of electrical sub-systemsProven experience troubleshooting and performing failure analysis of circuits with demonstrated knowledge of associated measurement equipment.Ability to understand and interpret Acceptance Test RequirementsStrong skills and experience performing analysis of technical dataStrong communication skills including report writing and presentationsU.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within one year of start date.Required EducationBachelor's of Science degree in an engineering or scientific discipline.Advance degree desirable.Desired Skills:Experience leading cross functional investigationsExperience developing test plans/methodologiesLeadership of small technical teams, including technical oversight and direction, cost estimation, tracking & reporting, coordination and preparation of detailed technical team reportsExperience with testing and troubleshooting RF and Microwave component/subsystem such as up-converters, down converters, power amplifiers, waveform generators, RF modulators, and limiters166168Raytheon is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
