RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in Waltham, MA is seeking a passionate and results oriented Software Engineer who will assist with the design and development of complex, high performance transactional systems. You will write software primarily in C on a Linux platform, with a focus on performance and reliability. You will also collaborate with talented engineers and cross-functional teams to reach company goals.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math or related discipline
Strong C development skills
Experience developing software on a Linux platform
Knowledge of multi-threaded programming
Strong understanding of database systems
Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, programming languages, distributed systems, and information retrieval
A positive, team-oriented attitude
