Accounting Manager
OESCO, Inc., a 65-year old company providing goods and services to growers, gardeners, foresters and groundskeeping professionals. We invite an experienced, detail-oriented accounting manager to join us. Duties to include:
General Ledger entries and account analysis
Monthly preparation of financial statements and schedules; quarterly and annual financial reports
Manager of A/P, A/R, O/E and Purchasing personnel
Prepare monthly/quarterly government reports
Sales and use tax returns
Weekly payroll processing; monthly/quarterly reports
Management of company health and Simple IRA benefits
Document preparation for Accountant
Reports to company President
Requirements:
8+ years related accounting experience. Experience in retail sales accounting or manufacturing accounting especially in a small business a strong plus
3+ years supervisory experience
Proficiency with accounting software, including writing of reports
Strong analytical and writing skills
Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite
Other qualifying requirements:
High level of integrity
Dependable and a self-starter
Detail oriented and organized
Excellent communication skills on all levels
Flexible and have ability to work well with others
M-F 8-5; occasional Saturday morning
