Anticipated Opening Math/Science Teaching Coordinator - DYS Central Region 2019-2020
The Collaborative for Educational Services (CES) is anticipated an opening for a Teaching Coordinator to provide educational program leadership and instruction to adolescents in residential facilities run by the Department of Youth Services (DYS) within its Central Region for the 2019-2020 school year. We are looking for a collaborative teacher who is committed to working with at-risk youth in small classroom settings. We value professionalism, positive youth development, and culturally responsive teaching. Demonstrated successful teaching experience with high-risk youth highly desirable. Successful candidates may be eligible for the teacher loan forgiveness program for up to $17,500. Teachers in DYS schools are part of the Massachusetts Teachers' Retirement System. Candidates should possess a Bachelors degree and a current Massachusetts teaching license in any of the following content areas: Math, or Science at the secondary level (8-12).
