Kitchen Assistant “ Seasonal Position

9am-3pm shifts available.

Our kitchen, which is open May through October, serves up three delicious meals a day, both during weekends and weekdays, and weekends are mandatory. We have an open kitchen that allows interaction with our guests. Mealtimes are an important part of our retreat-like atmosphere. The scratch menu is based on seasonal and local ingredients and accommodates the dietary preferences of our guests. We are gearing up for the 2019 season, and there is also the opportunity to join us each year for our (May-Oct) class season.

Current Position is for the 9am-3pm shift.

The ideal kitchen assistant is happy to learn, jump in wherever needed and pleasant to work with. Experience in a kitchen is helpful. The kitchen assistant prepares the salad bar, assists in meal service, assists the Lead Cook as requested, washes dishes, and helps clean the kitchen.

Compensation is competitive and will be determined by level of experience and qualifications. No health insurance, but benefits include free meals, and once vested - free art classes, sick time, and a friendly, positive work environment. This job will require passing a background check.
