Farm Country, a small batch Soupery, established 17 years ago in Southfield, MA has recently opened a Cafe and Store in Great Barrington and is looking for line cooks and cooks with experience in upscale, prepared foods. If you find joy in seasonal, clean, whole food, with a focus on health and wellness, providing cafe and take out lunch, farm suppers and farmers' market fare, we may be a match in made in heaven. Presently we are open for lunch and prepared foods to go, baked goods and coffee drinks with plans to open for breakfast and weekend dinner.
Potential for learning the alchemy of soup making and the business of soup production and distribution, for the right person, if interested.
You are organized and focused, passionate about your work. You are open to working with existing recipes and process but enthusiastic to create and collaborate on new ones. Integrity, work ethic, time and waste management, attention to detail, mindfulness and care are second nature to you. You have a cheerful, positive attitude. Above all you are kind, honest and have a sincere love of food and feeding people.
