I am a women with MS who is looking for a PCA to work a total of 16 hours a week and need someone to start immediately. The hours will be split over 2 or 3 days and u pick 2 days during week, and Sat.
I need someone who can help me with my administrative tasks. I need to submit my health care costs around April and October to SNAP and section 8. Someone who can keep my health related receipts and knows how to obtain my receipts from online sources like Purebulk.com, Purewow.com, CVS, CVS Caremark, and Amazon.com is a must. At the end of the period these costs need to be collated by source then date and a cover Excel sheet with totals created and submitted. I need someone with very strong computer skills. They must know how and what OneDrive, Excel, and Word are before the training and how to navigate computer files and how to use different aspects of Excel.
I will also need someone who can do errands for me with their own car, including some grocery shopping and other shopping inside Hadley. I will need someone who can go to the Survival center to pick up food for me and possibly a food pantry put on by The First Baptist Church of Amherst on Wednesday as well.
I would like to find someone who likes to clean as I need someone who can help me with household cleaning and chores. Other responsibilities may include driving me to a regular appointment a few blocks away, scanning documents, and laundry and some cooking. The applicant must be punctual and reliable with a good sense of humor and a good personality. I also need the person to be able to cover for my current PCA's when they go on vacation or call out sick. Previous experience as a PCA is not required.
Pay is done through Stavros at $15 per hour which is non-negotiable and must be paid into direct deposit. If you have not worked as a PCA through Stavros before they do require a 3 hour paid training (through them) on the basics of what a PCA does. This is in addition to and independent from any paid training I may have you do with my current care assistants.
