Job summary
Verify and record incoming and out going shipments. Prepare items for shipment, distribute receipts and process paperwork while maintaining a focus on the details. Responsibilities will include inventory control, loading and unloading trucks. This is a manufacturing/warehouse environment. The job requires frequent bending and stooping. Candidate must have the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
1. Ensure shipments are properly packaged, identified with shipping information and ready for shipment on time.
2. Process all incoming receipts in a prompt, accurate and efficient manner
3. Responds to request from various departments
4. Prepares freight to be shipped out
5. Have skills to operates electric and manual pallet jack and/or fork lift in a safe manner
6. Able to work independently with little to no supervision
7. Have good math skills
8. Strong organization skills
9. Be able to count in and repack product with accurate counts
10. Keep shipping/receiving and warehouse areas clean
11. Replenishes inventory of shipping supplies
Must pass a criminal background check.
Pay commensurate with experience.
