We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time Maintenance & Construction Position opening in the Greater Springfield, MA. This versatile individual will be responsible for the general maintenance and construction for over 200 units of residential housing. We have properties that have been well maintained in West Springfield, Westfield, Agawam, Chicopee, Holyoke & Springfield. We are offering a position that is 40+ hours a week with paid overtime.
Your responsibilities include:
Rehabbing new properties (single and multifamilies)
Completing work orders
Unit turnovers
Preventative maintenance
Grounds keeping
On-call duties
As a member of the team, you must have the following qualifications:
Previous building maintenance experience.
Painting, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry and HVAC knowledge and experience.
The ability to participate in emergency on-call service rotation and emergency snow removal.
Excellent customer service philosophy and a positive attitude.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
The ability to work as part of a team and also independently.
A valid Driver's License.
Access to a reliable vehicle.
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a preferred.
