Energy Specialist - Residential Sales (Western Mass)
Compensation: $60,000 to $100,000+ Yearly (Salary and Commission) employment type: full-time
At American Installations, we are looking for an ambitious, outgoing individual who would like a satisfying career. This job requires an outgoing personality, computer capabilities, and also someone who enjoys in home sales.
We have a 6-8 week training/shadowing program. Once your training is complete you will become a Certified Building Analyst and conduct 2-3 Home Energy Assessments per day.
Our Energy Specialists are trained to evaluate residential homes and identify areas in need of energy efficiency projects such as Air Sealing, Insulation and Weatherstripping, they also draw up proposals for these projects. He/she informs the homeowner of all the discounts and incentives available through the Mass Save Program and any rebates they may qualify for. The Energy Specialist also installs savings measures such as light bulbs, thermostats and aerators in the home to help the homeowner with their energy saving goals.
Physical requirements of the position include the ability to move through attics and crawlspaces, up ladders, etc.
Preferred and helpful experience: Computer proficiency, previous sales experience, knowledge of residential construction.

Specialists pay range from $60,000 to $100,000+ per year and have a company vehicle and fuel provided for them. Health insurance and other benefits are also part of an Energy Specialists employment package.
