Boomerang Moving and Storage established in 2008 and is seeking drivers / movers to help our team for approximately 6 weeks starting in early August. If you can drive up to 16' box trucks safely and handle some moving work we encourage you to apply. This is a Driver / Mover position. We are also seeking to fill a permanent position for the right candidate, if interested.
So what is the job like? We have a really unique business where much of our work is picking up and delivering storage (boxes, trunks, chairs, mini fridges, etc) for students at schools such as Umass, Mount Holyoke College, Smith College, Amherst College, Wellesley College, Yale and many more. We are now in our delivery phase as students are returning to school.
We are also looking to hire a permanent Lead Mover in case that is of interest
If you don't have moving experience but are highly capable, we will train.
Job Requirements:
Able to drive at minimum a 16' box truck (Driver position only)
Positive attitude
3+ days of availability per week
Reliable transportation to work
Must be honest, hard working, and physically and strong
Friendly, clean cut and well spoken
Flexible schedule
Smartphone / internet access
Drivers license
Pay:
Drivers Mover: $17 - $24 / hour + Tips. Wage based on experience.
Wages are based on experience and position.
