Job Description
We are looking for a person passionate about helping people and ready to be a team member in our fast-paced company! Light/Medium Duty Tow Truck Driver responsible for responding in a timely manner to emergency roadside service request in the form of:
Towing Service
Tire Change
Lockouts
Jump Start
Fuel Delivery
Battery Testing and Potential Sales
Accident Assistance
Long distance driving will sometimes be required.
Driver will have substantial customer interaction, including, potentially diagnosing the cause of vehicle problems, and providing necessary assistance.
Driver will have to write up reports of services rendered and accept payments.
Driver will provide a resolution for our customers that will get them safely back on the road or towed to their preferred destination.
Physical Demands & Working Environment: Substantial lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling; frequent balancing/climbing; substantial bending, kneeling, and/or crawling.
Submit correct invoices and suitable payment on time for processing
Maintain truck fluid levels according to manufacturer standards
Maintain truck and equipment ensuring cleanliness of the work vehicle provided

Requirements
Must have a valid drivers license
Must be 21 years of age
Pass D.O.T. physical
Ability to use a GPS Navigation Device
Pass Cori check
Basic knowledge of cars and automotive parts
Pass random drug testing
Must be able to adapt to changing work priorities and interruptions as conditions can quickly change and escalate
Pass general knowledge test pertaining to tow truck operation, emergency roadside assistance, vehicle service
2 years tow-related experience preferred, but not required
Customer service experience
Ability to use common sense understanding to carry out directives given in written/verbal/diagram form
Flexibility is required to work with customers in a variety of situations
