Performing a variety of metal finishing operations including; deburring, hand grinding, polishing and etching while maintaining qualityTecometstandards.
Receiving work order, drawings, and parts to be finished.
After instruction from Supervisor/Leadperson, selecting and utilizing hand and power tools such as grinders, sanders, drills and drill bits, knives, deburring tools, etc.
Etching number identifications on various parts where specified, using etching equipment.
Performing critical, close tolerance deburring/finishing of minute/very small parts where radii and chamber/edges are critical, using microscope and small tools.
Inspecting all finished parts for quality/specification requirements and place in containers/trays, and tag or record order data.
Moving materials as necessary in performance of duties.
Detecting and report improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions to Supervisor/Leadperson.
Maintaining work area and equipment in clean, safe, and orderly condition.
Following established company rules and regulations, safety precautions, and maintain quality standards.
Performing other related duties as required or as directed.
REM-03 WS-03 Shift start: 2:30PM
Shift length:
Must be mechanically inclined and able to deburr, sandblast, tape and inspect parts.
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions with the ability to read blue prints.
Previous experience using prints, micrometers andvernier’sa plus.
Must have skills in reading, writing, adding and subtracting whole numbers, following instructions, use of fixed gauges, direct reading instruments and similar devices, where interpretation is not required.
