Hours are 7:30- 2:30, M-F.
Caregiver needed to follow a home-based life skills model for a 22-year old female with significant cognitive delays. Client is mobile but requires assistance with transitions and various physical navigation and monitoring for safety at all times. The caregiver would be responsible for all daily living and personal care needs. This person is also responsible for all activities related to eating, hygiene, transitions, implementing communication programs, safety monitoring, community outings (which currently, due to COVID will be very restricive, with anticipation of opportunities for outings in the future.) Safe social practices during the pandemic as well as reliability is an absolute must. Client has sensory issues and is not able to wear a mask. All services will be provided in the home and activities are limited to outside areas that offer adequate social distancing. Client is very happy and good-natured and enjoys simple things in life such as taking walks in her stroller, running around at the park or taking rides, and listening to music. Own transportation is required. We are very good to our employees and have a great history with all caregivers in the past whom have remained with our family for many years. This is a new position for the day, as she is no longer eligible for school-based services and day-programs are not an option at this time.

Pay: The rate of pay is $22.50 an hour and you MUST be able to pass a CORI check.
