GALLERY HOST NIGHT AUDIT: Responsible for the hotel on the overnight shift and rolling over the business day. Available Night Audit shifts are on Friday and Saturday from 11pm to 7am. The night audit rate of pay is $14.50/hr.
GALLERY HOST FRONT DESK: Day shifts (limited availability) are from 7am to 3pm and Night shifts are normally from 3pm to 11pm. Some night shifts may be flexible and could possibly start later after 5pm. Part time or full time hours are available. If working the two night audit shifts, 3 front desk shifts can be scheduled during the rest of the week to bring this position to a full time position. Gallery host front desk rate of pay is $13.50/hr.
Our Gallery Hosts are cross trained in our Food & Beverage department as we have a small bistro-type restaurant and bar area that is attended to by our Hosts. Tips are split between Hosts and night shift hosts average about $75 to $100 per week above and beyond hourly wages. This amounts to an extra $2 to $3 per hour worked on average.
Previous hotel Front Desk experience preferred but will train the right person. Previous bartending or restaurant experience would be preferred as well.

Gallery Host
The Gallery Host creates an experience for our hotel guests by offering them a larger than home experience with welcoming, helpful and exceptional service, while maintaining a clean, comfortable and inviting environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Assists guests with check in and check out processes (verifying registration, address and credit information, balancing bank, posting charges). Go above and beyond to provide assistance, assist with luggage, coffee, directions, wake up calls, future reservations, etc.
Coordinates all guest requests, informs guests of hotel services, features, and room amenities.
Prepare, set up, stock, take down, clean, and provide quality beverages and food products consistently for all guests by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. Uses suggestive selling techniques.
Our successful Gallery Hosts demonstrate attributes of a great Host by being aware and attentive to our guests needs; in addition, they create conversations and share a moment thereby making a real connection with our guests.
Job Qualifications
Customer service experience is required, preferably in a hotel or related field
High school diploma or equivalent required
Must have ability to work weekends
Requires strong command of the English language to include speaking, reading and writing
Ability to learn quickly and work in fast paced position with constant guest interaction
Must be able to multi-task
Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight (minimum of 20 lbs)
Must possess basic computer skills, i.e. Word, Excel, etc.
Must be 18 years or older
