Small Nigerian Dwarf Goat farm in Barre, MA seeks farmhand for weekday mornings, currently Monday-Friday from 7am-9 or 10am, but more hours may become available.
Responsibilities include feeding, haying, watering, and caring for goats; barn clean up.
Our goats are very friendly, energetic, and love people. Were looking for a person who loves animals and enjoys working outside. Previous farm experience, including specific experience with goats, is a plus. Goat milking experience is a plus but not required. Must be reliable and able to come to work consistently, and provide advance notice for any cancellations. Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
Additional work in vegetable gardens is available starting in May if interested.
Pay starts at $10/hour; higher for relevant experience.
