A local Homecare Agency is looking for a self motivated candidate to work as a Home Care Coordinator. This a multi faceted role involving: scheduling, monitoring, and supervising Home Care Aides.
We are looking for a team player with great people, communication, and time management skills. This is a full time position with benefits. The office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
Responsibilities:
- Scheduling Home Care Aides and coordinating Client services
- Managing and supervising a staff of Home Care Aides
- Building positive relationships and effectively communicating with Aides, Clients, and Case Managers
- Working closely with other Coordinators in the office to ensure that clients receive consistent, quality care
- Assisting the Agency as needed, such as performing client field visits and aide supervisions
Qualifications:
- Previous management/supervision experience
- Previous Home Care /Elder Care experience preferable
- Computer proficiency including MS Office and scheduling software
- Knowledge of local geography/mapping skills
- Bachelors/Associates degree preferred
- Ability to speak other languages is a plus but not required!
