The CORE Group is hiring a FULL TIME Restaurant Depot Team opportunity in Marlborough, MA!
Warehouse Team/Restaurant Depot Requirements:
Retail shelf management
Perform in store demos
Ability to develop relationships with store management and staff
Professional, positive and persuasive demeanor
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work as a team
Restaurant operational understanding
ServSafe Food Handler Certification preferred
Foodservice experience preferred
Clean driving record - this position requires driving
Warehouse/Restaurant Depot Team Responsibilities:
Process all sample requests for sales team
Restaurant Depot responsibilities
Complete and submit distributor sample requests as needed
Maintain accurate inventory of samples on hand and order when par stock is diminished
Maintain warehouse calendar so warehouse coordinator knows when they are making pickups and deliveries
Assist with ensuring the warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic
Assist warehouse coordinator with shipping and receiving when they are out on deliveries and pickups
Assist at food shows or company events when necessary. Some overnight stays are required when assisting at a remote show.
All other requests as needed
Increase same store sales, measured against client and customer average sales.
Develop relationships with store management and staff.
Visit all stores on prescribed bases by volume
Retail shelf management
Merchandising material placement and maintenance
Product available for sale and price properly
Promotional activity execution
Communication to client and buyer
Competitive Reconnaissance
Perform demos to create product awareness, operator placement and support slow moving items
Preferences: High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 1-2 professional experience
